Odenwald-Madonnen-Radweg: Etappe 4

The last stage of the Odenwald Madonna Cycle Route starts in Neckargemünd and leads via Heidelberg to the destination of Speyer.

The last stage of the Odenwald Madonna Cycle Route starts in Neckargemünd and first leads to Heidelberg. With a great view of the world-famous Heidelberg Castle, the route heads towards the city center. You cross the Neckar on the striking "Old Bridge" and should plan time for a stroll through the city.

From Heidelberg, leave the Neckar and continue south to Leimen. The town is particularly well-known among tennis fans, as Wimbledon winner Boris Becker grew up here.

You can reach Reilingen via the towns of Nußloch and Walldorf. The town is best known for its asparagus and is crossed by the Baden Asparagus Route.

You reach the Rhine via Neulußheim and Altlußheim and almost reach the end of the Odenwald-Madonnen Cycle Route. After crossing the Rhine, you reach your destination, the Imperial City of Speyer. Past the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Speyer Cathedral, the cycle route leads through the city center to the main railway station.
