Tageswanderung über Pfullendorf zu den Naturschutzgebieten Ruhestetter Ried und Egelsee

This beautiful, long circular tour past the Seepark Linzgau, through nature reserves and an art site impresses with its diverse nature and different impressions.

At the start of the tour, you walk past the Seepark Linzgau. Here you can stop for refreshments in one of the restaurants for the rest of the route. After passing through Pfullendorf, the St. Martin's Church next to the town hall awaits you in Aach-Linz. You reach the Heinz-Sielmann pond via tarmac field paths, through Mühlhausen and via the L195. The pond was created in 2019 as a new biotope for animals and plants and measures around 7,000 m2. A few hundred meters further along the road is the art site neue Kund am Ried, also located in the nature reserve. The rest of the route takes you to Ruhestetten and from there along the Egelsee nature reserve, a section of the Hegau Way of St. James to Wald. The tour through the two nature reserves is characterized by idyll and tranquillity. Peat was still mined here until the 20th century. If you still have energy after the tour, you can really work out on the fitness trail just before Wald.
