Museen-Tour-Nord

The tour starts in Neuenburg am Rhein with its Museum of City History. This documents the history of the Zähringer town. After a break on the town hall square, the route leads to Müllheim with its Markgräfler Museum. The museum presents attractive permanent and special exhibitions on the art, culture and history of the Markgräflerland region.From there, the route continues via Buggingen to Heitersheim with its Roman "Villa Urbana". The Roman Museum preserves the central areas of the house. A detour leads to the Maltese Castle with the Maltese and Johanniter museums.The route continues along the Sulzbach via Eschbach and Bremgarten with a detour to Hartheim, past the Weinstetter Hof to the Rhine. There you cross the new Rhine bridge and the lock to Fessenheim to the Hardt Museum, the Schoelcher House and the old smithy. The museum presents the history of the Schoelcher family.From Fessenheim, head south via Chalampé back to Neuchâtel on the Rhine.
