This hike ranges from the present day to the Romans. It leads through a varied Hohenlohe landscape. The contrast could not be greater. Here the parkland of Friedrichsruh Castle, with the adjoining golf course. And there, towards the end of the walk, the Schöntal state forest in Heiligenwald.

The small Friedrichsruhe with its Wald & Schlosshotel, which belongs to the municipality of Zweiflingen, has a big name among first-class hotels. Right next to it is the large golf course, where film actress Uschi Glas plays golf.

A tour of Friedrichsruhe does not take long. The former hunting lodge of the Counts of Hohenlohe, which was built in 1712/17, dominates the scene.</p
