The cycle tour offers cultural sights along the way, breathtaking views and a challenging elevation profile. It also takes you past lakes and two castles.
Lake Illmensee: Here you will find an outdoor lake pool with a beautiful playground and kiosk, a mini golf course and boat hire as well as numerous places to stop for refreshments in the village.
Schloss Heiligenberg: from 1560 to 1575, the late medieval castle was rebuilt into today's Renaissance castle. Situated high above Lake Constance, it houses the famous Knights' Hall with its ornately carved wooden ceiling and the castle chapel. The representative seat of the nobility - the House of Fürstenberg -
offers a unique view of Lake Constance and the Alps.
Salem Castle: The Cistercians settled here in 1134. Over 700 years later, the monastery is the residence and vineyard of the Margraves of Baden and is home to a renowned boarding school. The monastery can be visited as part of a guided tour.
Höchsten: The Höchsten offers the most beautiful panoramic view of Lake Constance and the Alps in the entire vacation region. The nearby restaurant "Natur Erlebnis Hotel Höchsten" invites you to take a well-earned breather.
