Durch Wald und Flur

The circular tour lives up to its title, as you always cycle through meadows, fields and shady forests.

The starting point of the cycle tour is the Amtshaus Ostrach, which houses three different museums and offers a parking lot.
Ostrach is left in the direction of Bad Saulgau. After a short stretch, leave the country road behind you and turn left towards Gunzenhausen. After a short distance, you reach Tafertsweiler and continue via Eschendorf to Bachhaupten.
The district has a special baroque church with stucco marble altars by Joseph Anton Feuchtmayer. However, the church is usually only accessible during church services. Reinhold Frank, a resistance fighter in the Third Reich, was also born in Bachhaupten. A memorial plaque on the church still commemorates this today. The trail continues through Wirnsweiler and then quite a way through the forest back to Ostrach.
If you wish, you can make a detour to the Buchbühl monument.
