Ostrach - zwischen Kies und Landwirtschaft

An idyllic circular hiking trail that mostly leads through wooded areas.

The municipality of Ostrach is located close to the Pfrunger-Burgweiler Ried. Although the Ried is a unique attraction, Ostrach also has a few standard trails that allow you to get to know the surrounding area. Hiking trail 3, which is also designated as a cycle path, runs on both sides of the L280 country road, which leads through a wooded area to Bad Saulgau. The destination is the village of Tafertsweiler to the north-east of Ostrach, idyllically surrounded by fields and meadows and framed by forest. The standard hike (O3), which leads there and back again, has changed a lot due to the ever-closer extensive gravel pits - we therefore suggest a different route in the forest.
