Cross-connection on the Kocher-Jagst cycle path from Hardthausen am Kocher to Widdern.

The "valley change" between the Kocher and Jagst rivers leads across the Harthäuser Forest past the test center of the German Aerospace Center (DLR). Among other things, the propulsion systems of the Ariane rockets are tested here.

Information on route planning and selecting the direction of travel:

• From Widdern an der Jagst, the cross-connection initially climbs quite steeply to the Seehaus. The site of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) begins shortly after the Seehaus.
  

• From Hardthausen am Kocher, the ascent to the small ridge between the Kocher and Jagst rivers is much gentler than the ascent from the Jagst valley.
