When there is still snow at high altitudes in the Black Forest, the paths in the Dreisamtal are already clear of snow and ice.

Great introductory tour in spring to start the season or at the beginning of your vacation. If the elevation gain is too much for you, you can skip the climb to St. Ottilien or over the Giersberg and cycle directly along the Dreisamtal Dreisamtal cycle path in the valley.

The gravel tour through the Dreisamtal valley alternates between flat and hilly sections, with a few "climbs" in between that lead to beautiful viewpoints with views of the beautiful vantage points with views over the entire Dreisamtal valley. A varied mix of small paved roads, forest paths and occasionally beautiful trail sections round off the tour.</p
