In the Middle Ages, you start tour 2 of the cultural hiking trail along the Jagst at the Angel Fountain on the market square in Neudenau.

Emperor Barbarossa elevated Nydenowe to the status of a town in 1236. And certainly with good reason. Because it's not just the town itself that has a "past" - the whole area breathes great history. Especially at the 800-year-old St. Gangolf Chapel.
After the "Kalten Hecke" and the "Fischerwäldle", you will reach the village of Siglingen after a good 3 km. The slopes fall steeply into the Jagst valley, including thousand-year-old vineyards. The cultural hiking trail now leads you in a large northern arc to Domeneck.
