Schallstadt - Riegel

The second stage of the Baden Wine Cycle Route takes you around 50 km through the wine landscape of the Kaiserstuhl and Tuniberg - with unmistakable wine terraces and loess cliffs.

From Schallstadt, the route first takes you through meadows and fields around the vine-covered Tuniberg and then to the foot of the Kaiserstuhl.

In Ihringen, the nature center will tell you everything you need to know about the flora and fauna of the Kaiserstuhl, the nature of the terroir and the climatic characteristics that shape the wines.

The cycle route continues through the wine terraces, through small wine villages (particularly worthwhile: the small town of Burkheim) to historic Endingen and then on to Riegel.</p
