The second stage leads from Bretten via the gold town of Pforzheim into the Black Forest to Calw.
What a starting point, what a destination: from picturesque Heidelberg via the exciting Black Forest to the no less beautiful Lake Constance, this cycle path leads all the way through Baden-Württemberg, 300 kilometers from north to south.
On the second stage, the first meters of altitude have to be overcome. From Bretten, the route climbs up to the gold town of Pforzheim. The route then continues upstream along the Nagold to Bad Liebenzell and past the Hirsau monastery, which is well worth seeing, to the gates of the Hermann Hesse town of Calw.
