Bliessteig - Etappe 9 (Höchen - Bexbach)

The last stage starts at the Höcherberg tower and runs partly along the Hangarter Brunnenpfad towards the Steinberghütte in Frankenholz with a few little fountains, continuing through the "Bexbach Green Lung" to Bexbach (cultural) railroad station.

The ninth and final stage of the Bliessteig starts in Höchen. The trail climbs steeply uphill along a farm track towards Höcherberg. The highest point of the Bliessteig is reached after 1.2 km. Here you can take a break at the Höcherberghaus inn or climb the Höcherberg tower. Here you have a great view over the region. The route then continues slightly downhill along forest paths through the forest to the Münchwies rehabilitation facility, where the tour turns left.

The Bliessteig trail continues downhill along paths and forest trails past the cemetery and along the main road through the forest. The tour leads past various fountains and streams near Frankenholz. After the Steinberghütte hut, the trail continues past the Hollerbrunnen fountain, where the Bliessteig trail turns left, along the edge of the forest and finally into the forest. The hiking trail leads through the valley to the town and finally to the end point at Bexbach culture station.
