From the Vauban fortress of Homburg, the trail leads through the Karlsberg Castle forest park to the Möhlwoog pond in Jägersburg.
The seventh stage of around 15 km is a very wooded, somewhat more demanding stage. The climbs and descents, some of which are steep, challenge the hiker. The route mainly passes through forests and cultural highlights, especially in the Karlsberg Castle forest park, make this stage a special experience.
The Karlsberg pond, for example, is an idyllic visitor magnet in the Karlsberg Castle forest park below the ruins of the orangery. Here you can recharge your batteries to relieve stress, recharge your batteries and feel liberated.
