The Saar family circuit starts at the Merzig Sports & Leisure Park. It runs along the Saar, which is crossed at the Rehlingen barrage, and passes other leisure facilities such as the football golf course and the Saargarten as well as the Bietzener Heilquelle and finally ends back at the Merzig Sports & Leisure Park. As the name suggests, this cycle route is particularly suitable for families due to the gentle gradient
