The trail follows in the footsteps of Baroque Countess Marianne von der Leyen from Blieskastel via Gollenstein to Würzbacher Berg and back again. Along the way, there are always fantastic views of the vast landscapes of the Bliesgau region.
The "Blieskastel loop" of the Mariannenweg trail first leads through the historic old town of Blieskastel. The route then leads past the pilgrimage monastery to Gollenstein. From there, the route leads downhill along shady forest paths past the tranquil Lindenfels estate, over the Würzbacher Berg and back to Blieskastel.
