Description by the author

On the mountain peninsulas above the Elsach Valley lie Ulmer and Pfähler Eberstetten, two medieval clearing areas that are still used for agriculture and sheep grazing today. The varied circular hike leads across these areas on well-maintained field and forest paths. Around half of the route runs through shady high forest. The inclines and declines are moderate.

The former royal seat of Bad Urach lies in the middle of the UNESCO Swabian Alb Biosphere Reserve. Magnificent nature, fresh air and the picturesque half-timbered town ensure a relaxing, deep breath and restful vacation days.</p
