ZH1 - Großer Panorama-Weg Zaisenhausen

This circular trail shows you the full diversity of the Land of 1000 Hills. You roam through charming and natural landscapes and enjoy incomparable views of the beautiful region around Zaisenhausen. Numerous seating areas invite you to linger and pause for a while. The "Panorama Circular Trail" starts at Zaisenhausen railroad station (alternatively at the Zaisenhausen Hiking Home) and leads past the nearby historic town center, along the beautiful landscape conservation area to the Claffenbrunnen fountain. The path there offers hikers a unique atmosphere. The cozy seating area at the Claffenbrunnen invites you to rest and picnic. If you continue along the circular trail, you will reach the highest point in the municipality of Zaisenhausen with its hilltop sofa and enjoy an impressive view: to the right of the Stromberg and to the left of the Hardtwald. You also have a clear view of Ravensburg Sulzfeld and Sternenfels Castle as well as a magnificent view of the Kraichgau municipality of Zaisenhausen. The route continues past fields and a beautiful meadow landscape, through the nature reserve with its rare animals and plants. After a short stroll through the local businesses, you reach the orchards and the densely overgrown Hägenich forest, which provides welcome shade on hot summer days. Along the way is the hiker's home with a shelter and a lovingly designed children's playground and leisure area. The hiking route continues between forest and steeply sloping vineyards - the varied views over the Kraichgau hills are a delight. A beautiful forest path takes you back to the starting point, Zaisenhausen railroad station.
