3. Etappe "Uckermärker Landrunde": Warthe - Templin, walking tour

The little half-timbered church of the former estate village Alt Placht is surrounded by nature and among the Uckermark’s most beautiful churches. On its way towards the Templin canal, the route passes a diverse meadow landscape. Templin marks the transition between the biosphere reserve and the nature park. The historic town centre with its 1,735 metres long and up to 7 metres high granite town wall is well-worth a visit.

How to get there: From Berlin Ostkreuz take the regional train RB12 to Templin Stadt (about 1.5 hours). Then take bus no. 519 (towards Boitzenburg Schule) to Warthe Dorf (30 Minutes).

Return journey: From Templin take the RB12 from Templin to Berlin Ostkreuz (1.5 hours).
