A varied tour through a side valley of the Jagst. The historic old town of Möckmühl is an inviting starting and finishing point for hikers.

Right after the start at the town hall, the route heads "high up" towards the castle hill. Möckmühl Castle is a medieval hilltop castle and characterizes the townscape of the half-timbered town.

The first part of the tour leads over a small ridge between the Seckach and Hergstbachtal valleys with great views. The second part of the hike then runs through the idyllic Hergstbachtal valley. The path through the natural, small side valley of the Jagst leads along the typical landscape with stone bars and orchards - habitats for rare animal and plant species.
