From the
Heuberg community of Deilingen, the route leads to the Oberhohenberg, the
second highest mountain in the Alb (1,011 meters). The Oberhohenberg was also
important seat of power of the Hohenberg dynasty in the Middle Ages.
Hohenberg family. Today, the Oberhohenberg is a real "adventure meeting place",
as the town of Schömberg calls it, with the Schörzinger Hütte, the
the suspension bridge at the ruins and the reconstructed outline of the
octagonal tower on the Oberhohenberg.

Also the Hochberg is one of the elevations of the 10 Tausender. At 1,008 meters the mountain between Wehingen and Deilingen also makes it over the thousand mark.
