The NOK route leads from Brunsbüttel to Kiel along the canal. From Brunsbüttel it goes first via Burg, Albersdorf, Hanerau-Hademarschen and Breiholz to Rendsburg.
The 325-kilometer NOK route runs along the Kiel Canal through the charming inland of Schleswig-Holstein. On the stretch from Brunsbüttel to Kiel, about 100 ships make their way from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea every day. This makes the Kiel Canal one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world. Side by side with luxury liners and other "high seas" you will sail through meadow and forest landscapes, past lakes and rivers. The route gets its special charm from impressive locks, tunnels and a total of 10 bridges and 14 ferries. In the idyllically situated canal communities there are stately estates and manor houses to discover. The use of the canal ferries is free of charge!
