Description by the author

The Bilzrundwanderweg trail begins on the idyllic market square in Lunzenau. From there, you walk in the direction of the paper factory, where a junction leads to Heinrich Heine Park. Walk through the park in the direction of Rochsburg and cross the town here. On the promenade path, you can enjoy the wonderful view of Rochsburg Castle and walk along the mountain road towards Arnsdorf. This village is not only a district of the neighboring town of Penig, but also the birthplace of Friedrich Eduard Bilz. His birthplace still stands there today. Via the former open-air swimming pool, you come to Lunzenau and then back to the starting point on the market square.
