After an exciting 35-minute boat trip across the Pöhl dam from the landing stage near the dam wall, the boat docks at the Gansgrün sunbathing lawn.
This is where the actual ten-kilometre hike along the banks of the dam back to the starting point begins. The tour is a section of the yellow-marked dam circular trail, which impresses with its great views of the Pöhl dam. During the tour, there are refreshment stops and several highlights of the Pöhl Dam to discover, such as the leisure and adventure garden.
