This circular tour offers pure nature through two pleasant river valleys and fairytale forest paths in Roggenburg Forest. The landscape is shaped by the small river "Biber", which rises in Matzenhofen and flows into the Danube after 37 kilometers. Along the "Biber", many dammed ponds bear witness to the fish farming activities of the former imperial monastery of Roggenburg, which is now privately owned. The Osterbach originates in Friesenhofen and flows into the "Biber" near Silheim. Attentive observers will find the traces left by the industrious "Biber" along the course of the streams. The route passes pretty villages with lovingly maintained churches and chapels that invite you to stop for a break
