Beautiful hiking trail around Bretten-Bauerbach

Start the hiking trail at the multi-purpose hall in the direction of the Schützenhaus, turn right onto Brettener Weg. After around 200 m, turn right along a grassy path to the Zeilbuckel viewpoint, where you have a wonderful view over orchards and Bauerbach. Continue downhill, past the Bauerbacher See lake to the paddock, then left along a gravel path past orchards with young and old trees. Uphill again to the Bügelberg chapel, which is particularly beautiful with a panoramic view over Bauerbach, fields and meadows. Downhill along a grassy path to the biotope at Nässich, then left along a grassy and tarred path through an underpass under the railway line to Herrenwald. This is the northernmost point of the circular route, but also one of the most beautiful vantage points in Bauerbach. With a view of Gochsheim Castle, across the Bauerbacher Feld to Sternenfels. Return via grass and concrete paths, along the Herrenbrunnenbuckel, past the recycling center, up to the viewpoint on the Haube, with a view to the north-west over fields and meadows. From there to the Hieberg with the same view over Bauerbach and the surrounding area. Return via the Grasweg, through the Öpferäcker tunnel, through the Krautgärten back to the multi-purpose hall.
