R1 Spazierrundweg "Pilzchen"

This circular walk takes you from the market square directly into the southern city forest. Where forest and town are closest to each other, you can experience part of the "Höberück" (398.8 above sea level) on short paths. The intermediate destination "Pilzchen" offers a wonderful view close to the town, so that you can almost make out the lovely details of the many half-timbered houses.
The R1 also has a special highlight in store for puzzle fans, as one section of the trail is the very first "Black Stories Junior Hiking Trail". In cooperation with moses. Verlag, a unique and adventurous puzzle fun with wit and humor has been created for the whole family, so that the walk will certainly not be boring. The exciting puzzles have been carefully selected and provide lots of interesting information about the forest and its inhabitants, and some of the puzzles could actually have taken place in Rotenburg's past.
