This hike offers relaxation and opportunities to rest in a quiet location on the edge of the forest. You can hear the nightingale in the field. Some farmers create lark windows, areas that are excluded from cultivation and thus offer nesting opportunities for ground nesting birds. The trail leads into a mixed deciduous forest, sometimes with sweeping views through the canopy to Weidelsburg Castle. You can take an exploratory or relaxing break at the Hengstwiese nature reserve with its observation pulpit. A way to slow down.
