In the "Buchenbachtal" nature reserve, forest alternates with open, sometimes steep meadows. Here, sheep graze between old orchard trees and the Geritzbach babbles through a beautiful meadow valley. Again and again, benches invite you to let your gaze wander into the distance, for example towards the Vogelsberg. If you follow the path in an anti-clockwise direction, you will eventually be accompanied by the Buchenbach stream babbling over boulders, which will take you to the waterfall.
