Part of the hike follows the Beisetal information and forest nature trail, past an old paper mill to a ford with a water playground. This invites you to discover and linger.

The bridge of the old "Kanonenbahn" railroad tells of times when a train still ran between Berlin and Koblenz on this route.
Those who want a little spookiness will also get their money's worth: at the top of the Rommelsberg, the Frauenstein tells of crimes committed centuries ago. These are forgotten when you look out from the edge of the forest into the fabulously diverse landscape of the Knüll, which presents itself in new perspectives around every bend in the path.
