Fabelweg "Raboldshäuser Ritterweg"

Near the village of Raboldshausen, you will pass an old flax cave and the legendary Predigerstuhl. In this area, fabulously enchanted forest accompanies the hiking trail. In the Gelbachtal valley, you may be lucky enough to spot a black woodpecker, red deer or even a black stork. The varied scenery of the hike is characterized by views across the Geistal to Bad Hersfeld, into the Vorderrhön and over to the Eisenberg and a highlight of this tour - Neuenstein Castle. There you can take a wonderful break in Little Red Riding Hood's rose garden or the nature garden. The old walls, whose history dates back to the 13th century, are the subject of many a knightly legend. The office of the nature park is also based here.
