Weserbergland-Weg 1. Etappe Hann. Münden - Veckerhagen

The 225 km long quality hiking trail starts with the first of a total of 13 stages in Hann. It starts at the Weserstein, "Where Werra and Fulda kiss". From here, the trail leads up to the Tillyschanze, a viewing tower and excursion restaurant. From here, you are now in the Reinhardswald Nature Park, through which you will hike for the next three stages. The quality hiking trail, which is close to nature and partly on narrow paths, takes you through the beautiful Reinhardswald forest. Extensive beech forests, old hut oaks and plenty of peace and nature await you here. You mostly hike far away from civilization and can enjoy nature to the full. The destination of the first stage, which is almost 14 km long, is Veckerhagen. The district of Reinhardshagen impresses with its beautiful half-timbered architecture, with many houses dating back to the 17th century.
