As the name suggests, the trail runs along the ridge between the Weser and Diemel rivers. The Sieburg castle was once located here. The trail leads through the forest of the Reinhardswald Nature Park on idyllic, near-natural paths and paved forest trails. The highlight is certainly the "ladder to heaven", which, depending on which direction you walk, leads into or down from a former quarry. The quarry exudes a very special atmosphere and there is an incredible silence here. Take your time and enjoy this magical place during a short break.
