The route leads through the beautiful beech forest in the Hofgeismar city forest on forest paths that are mostly easy to walk on. There are benches here and there along the way to take a breather. In the area of the Eberschütz cliffs, the beech forest offers a wonderful view of the Diemel valley. The route then leads around the Heuberg back to Hofgeismar.
