The Spessart trail starts at the "An der Orbquelle" parking lot and initially leads uphill into the Spessart forest near Lettgenbrunn. One of the main highlights is the "Madstein" natural monument, where seating and an information board provide space for further education. The Spessart trail continues up to the "Hoher Berg", 520 meters above sea level. The trail then heads downhill again and back to the source of the Orb.
