Riesling Schleife Lorcher Schiefer

The demands placed on the winegrowers can be felt on the first steep climb up to the most beautiful wine view. The Rhine valley panorama is breathtakingly beautiful. The trail circles the ruins of Nollig Castle and turns north towards the Wispertaunus. The next few kilometers are dominated by gnarled oak forests on sloping ground until the path leads into the Wispertal valley at the Kreuzkapelle chapel. You cross a small river and a road, followed by another ascent. Once at the top, simply enjoy the second act of the panoramic movie and marvel. The path leads over sloping rock terraces through the World Heritage vineyard to Stickelbank. A wonderful place to linger. The last section downhill to Lorch is quickly completed.
