Hike in the most beautiful amphitheater in the country

The hike on the Käsbergrundweg trail takes you through a spectacular cultural landscape. Over a length of around 5 km, the circular adventure trail opens up the slope of the striking Mundelsheim Neckar bend, which is structured by countless dry stone walls and forms a natural amphitheater. In the wine village of Mundelsheim, you cross the historic town center with its half-timbered houses and gatehouses. In the past, wine and fruit growing shaped the everyday life of almost every family in Mundelsheim and contributed to the family income. You can get to know the trades associated with winegrowing in the museum in the Stiftsscheuer (by appointment). On the way to the Käsbergkanzel viewing point, you can immerse yourself in the world of steep vineyard terraces on narrow, unpaved paths. Limestone walls, stacks, rocks and sinter springs, as well as orchards on the plateau, are your companions. The Käsberg Pulpit offers you a panoramic view of the entire Mundelsheim Neckar loop and invites you to enjoy a picnic.
