Walderlebnispfad Leibertingen

An excursion into the countryside, a great discovery tour for young and old, fun and games, as well as a view of the breathtaking Danube valley - you will find all of this on the forest adventure trail in Leibertingen.

The forest adventure trail is approx. 1.2 km long. It leads from the hiking parking lot at the end of Leibertingen to right outside the doors of Wildenstein Castle. The majority of the route is easily accessible for baby carriages or wheelchair users, while a smaller, separate section leads through the grounds, but visitors are rewarded with a wonderful view.

There are 3 barbecue areas along the route (one of which has seating for an entire school class) and a wooden play castle.

The "shrub trail" and "thinning game" stations introduce visitors to the forest, while the "animal long jump" and "forest xylophone" stations require physical exertion. More than 15 tree species can be guessed in the "tree species game". Visitors can also learn about topics such as tree growth, forest soil, forest regeneration, wild bees and the formation of the Danube valley on site.A special attraction for everyone is an aviary with 2 eagle owls and, last but not least, the historic Wildenstein Castle in the middle of the wild and romantic landscape of the Upper Danube Valley.
