From the hemp market with its 16th-century signpost house, the route leads across Lohplatz. The town of Neckargemünd owes its name to this location, as this is where the Elsenz river flows into the Neckar. There are impressive high water marks in Schiffgasse. Cross the Neckarlauer and Neckarstraße to the market square with the Catholic church of St. Johannes Nepomuk. The city tour then leads through the narrow Kleppergasse and the city gate into Menzerpark. The tour ends there at board 1 of the flood path.
