The Kaiserstuhl Trail has been awarded the "Hikeable Germany Quality Trail" certificate. This makes it one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Germany and in 2019 it came second in the "Germany's most beautiful hiking trail" competition run by the specialist magazine "Wandermagazin"!
The Kaiserstuhl Trail runs through the unique landscape of the Kaiserstuhl Nature Park. Natural paths, loess hollow lanes and nature reserves characterize the picture.
Enjoy and experience the wonderful landscape of the Kaiserstuhl on a unique journey of discovery. On the almost 22 km long north-south axis, you will cross the Katharinenberg, Eichelspitzturm and Neunlindenturm viewpoints, which offer impressive views of the Black Forest and the Vosges mountains. The trail leads you through vineyards, deciduous forests, loess hollow lanes and nature reserves on largely natural paths.
