St. James Pilgrimage Route

Short Description

From Station 28 Querfurt, the path leads to Station 32 Eckartsberga.

Description

Heading towards Burgring through the farming settlement. From there, towards the federal highway in the direction of the Muschelkalk rocks and through the valley. Then to the shooting range of Steigra and further towards Kalzendorf. Continuing to Schnellroda.
Through the nature reserve to the Church of St. Jakobi in Mücheln. From there, continue to Branderoda.

On the Via Regia to the shelter with the Napoleoneiche tree. To the Edelacker Hotel and from there to the Church of St. Marien in Freyburg/Unstrut.
Further to Großjena. From there, take the Saale ferry to Naumburg. Continuing to Roßbach.
From Roßbach past the radio tower to Punschrau. Then to Hassenhausen and from there to Zäckwar. Across the fields to Benndorf. From Benndorf towards Lissdorf. At the edge of the village, you are on the road to Eckartsberga. Continuing to Kirchberg, where the St. Jakobus Trail ends. From Eckartsberga via Mallendorf and Seena to the Thuringian state border.
