The shape of some sandstone rocks is reminiscent of a dove, rhinoceros, lion or even a brooding hen. Such bizarre creations can be admired in the Jonsdorf millstone quarries, where rock formations are also called organs, teapots or "three brothers". Between the spa town of Oybin and Töpfer, part of the path through the stone zoo is even suitable for excursionists with baby carriages. Around the Fuchskanzel in the climatic health resort of Lückendorf, you can combine your search for animals with a detour to the ruins of Karlsfried Castle.
