Out and about in the Köthener Heide Heathland

With six lakes, a hill with observation tower and the beautiful heath landscape of the Köthener Heide heath, this hike offers plenty of variety and is absolutely ideal for nature lovers. The view from the observation tower on the Wehlaberg hill on sunny days is worth the walk. From Halbe, continue with the 725 bus, direction Hermsdorf (near Münchehofe) as far as Köthen. There are no buses between Halbe and Köthen at the weekend.Car: Leave Berlin southwards via the A113 and from the Schönefelder Kreuz continue on the A13 towards Cottbus / Dresden as far as the Teupitz junction.
