First Stage "Seenland-route": Senftenberg - Spremberg

The Lakeland route starts at the harbour in Senftenberg. From there it continues via Reppister Hights to Großräschen, at IBA Terraces. The Victoria Hights is right nearby. From up there, there is a beautiful view over the harbour and Lake Großräschen. The tour continues along Lake Sedlitz and Lake Partwitz. The beach at Partwitz Lake invites you for a short break and a swim. The route runs through the villages of Bluno and Sabrodt before reaching Lake Spreetal. Once there, it is worth visiting Terra Nova, the post-mining landscape with a pony farm and wild animal breeding.
Further the route is going towards Schwarze Pumpe to one of the most modern lignite-fired power plants in Europe. The stage ends in Spremberg at the tourist information office.
