Description by the author

This stage of the Lower Lusatia Mining Tour goes to the Spreewald Biosphere Reserve. We recommend visiting the Spreewald Museum in Lübbenau, the Slavenburg in Raddusch and the White Stork Centre in Vetschau.
To start with, you cycle through the Lower Lusatian Ridge Nature Park, where you will find the historic town of Fürstlich Drehna with its moated castle. Meanwhile, the nature park itself enables visitors to experience a landscape transformation: after decades of lignite mining, new lakes have formed.Length: 67 kilometresStart: Calau, finish: VetschauLogo/route sign: The route logo is the red record devil. How to get there: Take the S7 from Berlin central station to Ostkreuz.
