On the trail of the Deutschland Tour 2023, this 100 km long tour takes you through the Saarschleifenland

From the market square in Wadern, the route follows almost exclusively the original route of stage 1 of the Deutschland Tour to the stage finish in Merzig. The tour continues through the climatic health resort of Weiskirchen to Losheim am See. The route continues through Scheiden, the highest town in Saarland at 585m above sea level, towards the ceramic community of Mettlach. The route continues around the Schwemlinger Wald forest to the Viezstadt Merzig. From here, the route takes a varied route via Hargarten, Niederlosheim and Nunkirchen back to the starting point in Wadern.
