Circular route around the Pätzer Vorder- und Hintersee

Starting at Bestensee train station, the circular hiking trail leads around both Pätzer lakes. Along the trail, several places to stop for a meal can be found, ensuring plenty of options for hearty breaks. Gastronomic facilities are available in Bestensee, Pätz, and in the Hintersiedlung in Bestensee. The route first passes through the town of Bestensee before turning into the forest. Past the well-known bathing area at Vordersee, the small village of Pätz is then crossed. The path leads to the Pätzer Hintersee through Liepegrund. Through forests and meadows, the trail winds through nature, occasionally revealing views of the water. After a short stretch on Hofjagdweg, the hiking trail turns parallel to the regional railway line towards Hintersiedlung. The path along the shore is particularly beautiful here.
