First Stage “Oder-Neiße Cycle Path’: Weißwasser - Forst (Lausitz)

The first stage of the Oder-Neiße Cycle Path to reach the State of Brandenburg is 42 kilometres long and will take cyclists from Weißwasser in the Oberlausitz region to Forst (Lausitz) in the Niederlausitz region. Particular highlights of the tour are the castle and gardens in Bad Muskau that are crossed by the Oder-Neiße Cycle Path. The famous landscape gardener Prince Pueckler-Muskau created the park in the style of an English landscape garden in the 19th century.
