Half of the route runs along forest roads and forest paths, but the other half also follows forest paths and trails. The steps at Hermannseck are not very difficult, but should only be tackled if you are sure-footed. The profile of the route is also not very difficult with an altitude difference of around 550 meters, but there are a few longer ascents and descents, which is why the tour is defined as moderately difficult. Otherwise, however, any effort is worthwhile, as you can enjoy pure nature in the Kirnitzschtal and at the same time wonderful views from the Königsplatz and the Lindigtblick.
