In the middle of Vogtland Switzerland lies the Pöhl dam, one of the largest reservoirs in Saxony. The so-called "Vogtland Sea" is surrounded by a curved low mountain range landscape with beautiful hiking trails and interesting excursion destinations.
On the 4.3 km hike through the Triebtal valley, you will discover a picturesque meadow landscape, the rugged Loreley rock with a beautiful view of the Triebtal valley and the Elster valley bridge. Hikers should allow around 1.5 hours for the technically easy trail.
Caution:
The stairs to the Loreleyfelsen are currently closed for safety reasons! The path over the Elster Valley Bridge is closed until 2025! Note: Impairment of the hiking trails in the area of the Elster Valley Bridge and Barthmühle
